A small experiment with Shadergraph to create a dynamic skybox that transitions through a day.
After playing Valheim with some friends, I was inspired by how pretty it was despite the relatively simple models and textures. As an experiment, I dabbled with the Shadergraph tool in Unity.
From a text file, the sky transitions between different colour keyframes. The sky gradient is then posterized to give a style similar to my pixel art. The video below has a high time setting for the sake of showcasing, this can be reduced in the editor.
